Hubert Y. Spears, Jr. - Age 75, passed from this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018, after an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Y. Spears, Sr. and June (Sevier) Spears; his sisters, Linda Bryant and Donna Paul.

He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver of over 54 years, Kay (Marlowe) Spears; daughter, Andrea (Rob) Eanes; son, Bert (Jennifer) Spears; grandchildren, Cameron and Drew Eanes, Eliza and Braden Spears; sisters, Susan (Greg) Garner, and Nancy (Bill) Bretz; brother, Joe Spears.

He was a Mason, and a member of Capitol City Golf Association; also, a member of Belle Meade UMC; an avid golfer; having coached baseball, basketball, and football in Nashville the majority of his adult life.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 12:00pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Michael O'Bannon officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Box 55 Association (box55.org)

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00am until the service time at 12:00pm, both at West Harpeth Funeral Home
