Mrs. Irene E. Thompson - Age 97, passed away December 29, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Thompson; siblings, Bessie, Mable, Lloyd, Richard, and Luther.

Survived by her children, Eugene Thompson, Stanley Thompson, Ruby (Jimmy) Duke, Loretta Cantrell, and Billy Thompson; grandchildren, Trudy Duncan, Lori Neely, Jason Thompson, Matthew Thompson, and Barbie Thompson; great grandchildren, Camara, Stuart, Wayne, Harley, Dalton, and Cody; great great granddaughter, Sturlyn; siblings, Christine Redmond and Bonnie Mays; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 11am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Jeremy Stover officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
