Jack Hopton Storey - passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Hopton Storey; his father, James F. Storey.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn J. Storey; daughters, Michelle (Steve) Webb, and Tara Scarbrough; granddaughters, Brooklyn Paige Scarbrough, Victoria Nicole Webb, Emily Hope Scarbrough, Kaleigh Anne Hatfield; grandson, Jack Kasen Storey; great granddaughter, Marleigh Elise Berry; great granddaughter on the way; brothers, William(Judy) Storey and James (Linda) Storey; special aunt, Ruth Storey Sims, 2 nephews, and host of cousins and extended family.

A 1955 Cohn High School graduate, "Br'er Fox" was wild and mischievous, despite a full scholarship to UT, he followed his dream of California and worked at Douglas Aircraft Company. He eventually returned to Nashville and met the love of his life. Three months later, they were married and still together 55 years later.

He was a hard worker and was determined to provide for his family, and worked at Genesco for 45 years. He was a man of faith and attended St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016, from 11:00am until 1:00pm, with a memorial service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
