Jacob Taylor

December 4, 1981 — July 25, 2021

Jacob Allan Taylor, 39, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee.  Jacob was killed on his motorcycle by a hit and run driver.  Jacob resided in Antioch, Tennessee after his retirement for the U. S. Airforce.  He attended North Stonington Schools and moved with his parents to Niantic, Connecticut where he graduated from East Lyme High School in 2001.

He is survived by his loving mother Anna Stadnick and his stepfather, Stephen Stadnick.  He is also survived by his siblings, Maxwell Wyeth and Anastacia Wyeth, his wife; Sydney Wyeth, Caitlin Taylor Romanowski and her husband Lucas Romanowski; and Alexander Taylor; his nieces Malichi and Courtney, nephews, Fletcher, Zachary, and Wyatt.  Jacob is predeceased by his father Allan D. Taylor of Stonington, CT.

Jacob served in the U. S. Air Force for 19 years before retiring to Antioch, Tennessee.  He was a member of the Knuckleheads Motorcycle Riding Club and he worked at The Dogwood as a bouncer and could often diffuse a tense situation with his calm and witty manner.

Jake loved to fish, hunt, and set a record in his youth for cross country running, never to be topped.

Jacob loved his life.  He was a happy go lucky friend and loved his family like no other.  He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, his dog, and his Air Force comrades-in-arms.
