James Richard Deason, "Dick" - Born on September 8, 1939, passed away November 2, 2014. I leave behind my family, wife, Nancy L. Deason; children, Bryon, Barry (Pam), Mitzi (Bill) and Mandy (Keith); grandchildren, Dustin, Mitchell, Cory, Chelsea, Cassie (Dakota), Tyler (Jessica) and Hailey; great +grandchildren, Lexi, Brice, and Jase; siblings, Raymond (Lois) Sandra (John) and Larry (Debbie). He is preceded in death by son, Ricky Deason, Jr. and parents, Bessie and Orville Deason. Dick was Army Veteran stationed in Germany, and a member of the Ford Golf Club and IBEW local 429; also a longtime member of the West Nashville Moose Lodge and the Jere Baxter Masonic Lodge. A joint graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at 2pm, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, with his son, Bryon Walling. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12pm-8pm at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike; 352-9400.
