James "Jimmy" Goad- Age 93, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a former elder and song leader for Park Avenue Church of Christ/ Western Hills Church of Christ for over 40 years.. Jimmy most recently worked for Wolfe & Travis Electric where he retired at the age of 92.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Steve and Charlie Goad; daughter in law, Linda Goad and son in law, Robert "Bubba" Hall.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 72 years, Roberta Goad; children, Donna Hall, Bev (Les) Kiblinger, and Kelly (Sharon ) Goad; daughter in law, Nancy Goad (Charlie's wife) ; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 11:00am, at Western Hills Church of Christ with Daryl Demonbreun and David Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jason Goad, Tristen Goad, London Colbert, Colin Goad, Timmy Jones, Michael Jones, Rob Demonbreun, Jason Andrews, Tyler Demonbreun, Eddie Marchbanks, and David Lofton. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Atkinson, Eddie Coggon, Les Kiblinger, David Costello, Dale Denny, Carol Cagle, Robert Norman; close friends and coworkers of Wolfe & Travis Electric.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 1:00pm until 5:00pm, and on Monday from 10:00am until the service time at 11:00am, both at Western Hills Church of Christ, 7565 Charlotte Pike.

**Due to a wedding being held at the church on Saturday, flowers can be directed to the funeral home.**
