James Alvie Lynn - Age 91, passed away on 2-15-2015 in Nashville, TN. Mr. Lynn loved fishing, farming, mowing grass and yard work and spending time with his family. He was known for his joking and clowning around. He loved to play the guitar. He was a longtime member of the Charlotte Road Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eva Lynn and son Jimmy Lynn.
He is survived by daughters, Margie (Hansford) Pedigo, Reba (Gene) Pearson, Wilma (Jerry) Shelton, Rita (German) Mejia, and Judy Hill; Grandchildren, Diana (Darryl Lovell) Pike, Teresa Harris, Mike (Karen) Pearson, Deanna (Roger Simcox) Lindsey, Angela (Andy) Carson, Kathy (Nick) Mullins, Heather (Jamie) bell, Jesse Hill, Tammy Bass (Craig) Dunham, Andy (Kelly) Lynn; Bill and Lisa Toungette; Great-grandchildren, Nicole (Nick) Dugan, Austin Pike, Jordan Harris, Lindi (Joe) Porter, and Drew Carson, Nicholas Lindsey, Heath and Haley Pearson, Shaun Mullins, Kyle and Abigail Bell, Jessika and Sydney Lynn, Amanda Sprinkle-Carter and Brandon Carter, Stacy Layne and Becca Toungette; Great great grandchildren- Kelsey, Harleigh, Jackson, Bentley and Easton Dugan. A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 1pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Price officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
