Janie Keel

Janie L. Keel of Nashville, TN passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 10, 2020. She was 79 years old.

Ms. Janie is preceded in death by her parents "Buster" and Pauline Lindsey; and brother Gordon Lindsey. She is survived by her son Andy O'Guin; nieces Debbie Ward (Don), Novie Lindsey; nephew Gordon Lindsey, Jr. (Patty); and cousin James Corlew, Sr. (Betty).

Janie was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, friend, and employee. She dedicated much of her life to her family and work. Those that knew Janie remember her as someone they could completely trust, whether that be with a duty or a statement, Janie was always a woman of her word. She assiduously served as an executive assistant for more than 30 years in insurance brokerage, but always found time to do things she enjoyed such as gardening, taking care of pets, and collecting plush animals.

A visitation only will be held for Ms. Janie Keel at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville TN 37209 on Friday, September 18th from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.
