Jennifer Hooten, "Jenny"

Jennifer Faith Barber Hooten, “Jenny”, passed away July 7, 2022, at the age of 44 years.  Jenny was born in Nashville, TN on August 29, 1977, to Ronnie and Linda Barber.   She loved people, especially children and had a special place in her heart for animals.  Diamond and Little Bit were her own fur babies and she loved them dearly.  Jenny was known to put family, friends, and even strangers, before herself.  She was a joy to be around and brought so much happiness and laughter to everyone she met. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Ronnie B. Barber and both sets of grandparents, Oscar and Susie Barber, and Joe and Evelyn Anderson.  She is survived by her loving mother, Linda Barber; sisters, Lori McElroy and Angela Marsh, brother-in-law, Joe Marsh; brother, David Barber; niece, Jessica Hayley McElroy; nephew, Zachary Duran Barber (Jackie Barber) and their children (great nephews to Jenny), Isaiah Barber and Ronnie Duran Barber; many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, July 14, 2022, between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN.  Visitation will also be on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 11AM until service time at 1PM.  Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN.

West Harpeth Funeral Home has the privilege of serving the Barber/Anderson family.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in helping cover funeral expenses for Jenny.
