Jimmy Ray Napier

Jimmy Ray Napier (JR) - 61, of Hermitage, TN, born on December 5, 1960, in Nashville, TN to Larry Carmack and Jessie Napier, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2021.

Jimmy was obsessed with anything automotive and his favorite thing to do was to trout fish on the Caney Fork. He worked selflessly to take care of his family and he was a devoted husband and father. He lived for every Sunday to see his children and granddaughter. His jokes were legendary. He made sure you spent time with him in laughter. He was dedicated Master Tech for Volvo of Nashville.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda Sue Napier; children, Jennifer (Chris) Edwards, Benjamin (Miranda) Taylor, and Amanda Carney; grandchildren, Eden Cora Taylor, and Rashawn Lester; mother, Jessie D. Napier; brother, Larry D. Napier, and a nephew, Jonathan Napier.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 2PM until 4PM. A memorial service will follow at 4PM. Brother Mike Shelton will officiate the service.
