Jo Doris Waggoner

Jo Doris Wilson Waggoner- Age 92, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Waggoner, Jr., siblings, Don Wilson, Rebecca Campbell, Lewis Wilson, Gwendolyn Myers, and Ruth Collier; beloved nephew by marriage, Butch Smith

She is survived by her daughter, Christie Lee Morrow (Milton, Jr.) grandchildren, Melissa Cornell (Chris), Jeremy Morrow, and Patricia Hector (Robert); great grandchildren, Haley Mangrum (Chris), Ryan Cornell (Jennie), Chelsey Zamora (David), Chase Cornell (Savannah), Kaitlin Shepard and Keegan Shannon; three great great grandchildren, Waylon Mangrum, Titus Mangrum, and Mac Mangrum; and beloved niece and caretaker, Judy Smith.

Mrs. Waggoner was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church and Broadmore Baptist Church for many years. She retired in 1982 from BellSouth, at the age of 55. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her Young @ Heart friends.

A Celebration of her life will be on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 11AM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte with Pastor Patrick Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow next to her husband at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be Cody Anderson, Jeremy Morrow, Chris Cornell, Ryan Cornell, Chase Cornell, and Chris Mangrum. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Campbell, Bobby Campbell, Tommy Campbell, and Jerry Pack.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 2PM until 5PM, and again on Monday from 10AM until the service time at 11AM, all at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
