John Guy, Jr.

GUY, John A., Jr., Age 83, Nashville, Passed away on October 9, 2012. Born on October 7, 1929 in Chicago, IL. John was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Japanese Occupation following WWII. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Corinthian Lodge. He was also a member of Al Menah Shriners where he served as Captain of the Patrol Unit. He was member of Hillwood Presbyterian church where he was an elder for many years. He retired from Temco, Inc. and State Industries. Preceded in death by son, David Alan Guy. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Beverly Guy; daughter, Kathryn Bryan; grandchildren, Aaron Katie Bryan of Winter Haven, FL and Cristin Bryan of Nashville. A graveside service will be at 12pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. A memorial service will follow on Friday at 2pm at Hillwood Presbyterian Church, 6220 Hickory Valley Rd.
