Bailey, Dorothy Juanita Keel. Age 80, of Nashville died on April 4, 2015 surrounded by her entire loving family. Born January 30, 1935 in Nashville.

She was the daughter of the late Edith and William Keel. Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James N. Bailey, Jr. and brother, James Keel, Jr.

She graduated from Cohn High School, Class of 1953 and had many lifelong friends. She was a lifetime member of the West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was actively involved in many capacities, including service as a Deacon, member of the choir, President of Cumberland Presbyterian Women, Young at Heart, LOGOS and her Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

She was a special mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, and was actively involved in their school and extracurricular activities. She retired with 38 years of service with BellSouth. She worked for over 25 years on election day at Sylvan Park precinct, where she knew almost everyone who voted.

Survived by her loving children Nick Bailey, Vickie Parmer (John) and Jami Whitworth-Hankins (Ron Hankins) and her devoted grandchildren, Lauren & Victoria Whitworth of Nashville and Tyler & Blake Parmer, both of Williamston, Michigan and Jennifer Kalman (Dan) & Lindsey Goetz (Thomas). Great grandchildren: Jordan & Drew Kalman and Adasyn, Brooklynn & Charlotte Goetz. Also survived by her special sisters, Barbara Gardner of Redford, Michigan and Janice England (Bob) of Canton, Michigan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home and 10:00-12:00 on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 6849 Charlotte Pike, with service following at 1:00 pm at the WNCP Church.

Active Pallbearers: Nick Bailey, John Parmer, Tyler Parmer, Blake Parmer, Ron Hankins, Dennis Orman, Charles Brandon, William Baird, J.T. Jones, David Eastland and Wade Story.
Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Michael Baker, Dr. Benjamin Womack, Dr. Thomas Golper and Dr. Michael Fowler.
