June Edna Romer age 73 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away, Friday, January 15, 2010. She was member of Hendersonville Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Romer was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Romer is survived by her husband of 54 years, Albert C. Romer; his daughter, Leanne Freeman and her husband, Robert E. Freeman, Jr. and their two children, Angelique and Robert Freeman, III; her son, Albert C. Romer and his wife, Kristin Romer and their daughter, Janelle Romer; her daughter, Judy Ann Young and her three children, Steven, Robert and Joseph Young; her son, Sgt. James C. Romer and his wife, Cindy Romer and their two children, Jennifer and Theresa Romer. Mrs. Romer was preceded in death by her two sisters, Cathy King and husband, Bill King and Evelin Goff and husband, Lyil Goff; her sister-in-law, Joyce Maidens. "June will be greatly missed. She was loved by so many and she never met a stranger. We were blessed to have had her. She wasn't just a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she was my best friend and she will be missed and loved always. I love you mommy." Funeral services will be conducted 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 19, in the Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 1 PM and from 4-6 PM, Monday, January 18 and from 9 AM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
