Kevin Clauson, 51, of Nashville, TN passed away in his home on 15 Sep 2022, while undergoing aggressive cancer treatment.
Kevin was born to James & Victoria Clauson, on 14 Aug 1971, in Hammond, IN. Kevin graduated from Union City High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Murray State University. He received his PharmD from the Univ of Tennessee in Memphis. Kevin served as a Pharmacy Professor at Nova Southeastern University and Lipscomb University. Professor Clauson is widely published and was a well-respected speaker in digital health and blockchain; having presented across the country, including at Stanford University’s Medicine X program and the White House for the President’s Precision Medicine Initiative in 2016.
He married Angela, the love of his life, in 2002, who survives him. Kevin is also survived by his 14-year-old daughter Ella, his parents, and his sister, Heather.
Kevin took pride in being a loving father, a caring husband, and loyal son/brother. Kevin was known for his unbelievable intellect and humor. He loved watching Arsenal soccer and playing poker and video games with his family and friends. Kevin was kind, generous, and a joy to be around. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and students.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 6:00PM.
