Larry Anthony French, age 37, of Ashland City, passed away on May 6, 2018, in Charlotte, TN. He was born in Nashville, TN on July 18, 1980 to Cathey O'Sail McCutheon.
Along with his mother Cathey McCutcheon, Larry is also survived by his sister, Crystal (Mickel) Young; fiancé Dara Hargrove; step-children, Isabella and Brantley; nieces, Danielle McClendon, Kaitlyn Young, Keylee Young, and Brittany Cleland; two nephews, Gabe Young and David Cleland. He his also survived by his step-father, Michael McCutcheon; a step-sister, Christy Cleland and his "Paw Paw", Rodney Mitchum.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carlene Jesse Mitchum.
Growing up, Larry was a star athlete. He played every sport he could get involved in, but really stood out in Football. He played for both Harpeth and Hillwood High School, where he went to state twice. His love for sports only grew with age. He was a diehard Redskins fan and ESPN was his favorite channel.
Larry will be remembered for his big heart and not only for the love he had for his family but for God. He is known for always looking "fresh" and helping people every chance he got. Larry never met a stranger; he was a kid at heart.
The family gives special thank you to Cameo Sanders for the donation of his final resting space and to all who have reached out.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home with burial following at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Angel Vargas, Carter Bradley, Josh Vanatta, Gabe Young, Mickel Young, John "Moose" Shearon, and Mike Mike.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 9:00am until the time of service.
