Larry Edward Thompson aka "Cabin Larry"
Born November 21st 1953, and passed away January 21st 2020.

A painter by trade, but his passion was being with his wife on the boat fishing. Larry was a lover of all music. He was a great singer, songwriter, and guitar player. He had a love for classic cars especially his 1949 Chevy pickup truck. After Larry's stroke when he would take his daily visits to the car shop or wherever anyone was working on something he would talk safety and have safety meetings with them. He wanted everyone to stay on the safe side.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, Clyde E. Thompson . He is survived by wife, Darlene Daniel Link Thompson; stepson, Daniel Link; mother, Gladys Driver (Mac Driver); sisters, Gwen Huskey and Nancy Thompson; nephew, Chris Huskey. Our kids from the heart, Ed & Lana Phillips. Grandchildren Willow Link, Grace Phillips, and Paige Phillips.
To all of Larry's best friends (too many to name but you know who you are) he loved each and every one of you.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 2PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Pike. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to his service from 1PM until 2PM.
