Linda Joyce Pewitt Jones- born July 6, 1944, went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Richard Jones; parents, Lucille and Clyde Pewitt; brother, Charles Raymond Pewitt. Survived by her sister-in-laws, Marjorie (William) Bass, Pam (Carl) Johnson; Debbie (Sam) Helm; brother-in-law, Terry (Kay) Jones all of Nashville; many caring friends at Villa Maria Manor; numerous loving nieces and nephews; one sister, Nancy Jean (Richard) Johnson, of Nashville, TN. Mrs. Jones started her career in 1964 at the age of 20 as a beautician, working at Duchess Hair Salon, Classic Coiffures, The Phoenix, Linda's in Belle Meade Plaza, Hair Deals, Salon Cargile, and Salon at Villa Maria, totaling 50 years. In lieu of flowers please donate to Alive Hospice and/or Villa Maria Manor at 32 White Bridge Rd. A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 2:30pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday 1:30pm until the service time at 2:30pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
