Linda Wood Watson, of Nashville, TN, passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on November 12, 1947, to the late Doris and James A. Wood. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was of the Methodist faith. She graduated from Bellevue High School and attended MTSU.

Linda lived a very fulfilling life raising her boys, being active in the church, playing golf, traveling, and enjoying her grandchildren. She loved flowers and hummingbirds and was very tech savvy. Linda was the last immediate family member of Pettus-Owen & Wood Funeral Home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James E. Wood.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 57 years, John; sons, J. Edward Watson, Jr. and Paul W. Watson (Sara); grandchildren, Paige Watson, Emerson Watson, John Davis Watson, and Mackenzie Pyron.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 11:00AM until 2:30PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37209.
