SISSOM, Lois Adele Harris - Age 94 years, passed away April 5, 2014. She was the wife of the late Grady B. Sissom. Also preceded in death by her parents, Martin Hancock Harris and Lillie Gordon Harris; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by daughter, Carolyn DeLorees Sissom Powell; grandchildren, Tom Powell, Sheryl Campbell, Joel (Sheri) Powell, and Natalie (Wally) Moore; 12 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sissom was a loving and caring person. Everyone who met or even talked to her, loved her. She was a member of the Richland Community Church. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 1pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Farless officiating. The music will be provided by Wayne Russell. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Richland Community Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12pm until the service time at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike; 352-9400.
