Mabel Jennette

Mabel Evelyn Jennette, 87, of Lakeview, OH passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 6, 2016 at her home. Mabel was born on March 4, 1929 in Nashville, TN to the late Felix and Maude Hicks. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Jennette. She was also preceded in death by a son, Rick Jennette in Oct. 2016 and three siblings, Polly, Sybel and Raymond Hicks. She is survived by two children, Harold Jennette, Jr., of Carlton, MI and a daughter Bobbie (Dave) Ward, of Lakeview, 10 grandchildren, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mabel worked for A & P stores as a baker. She loved fishing, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 12-5 p.m. at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Lakeview. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN with visitation from 9 to 11.
