Margie Lane Pruett "Hippie Chick Cowgirl" "Nan", age 62, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born in Nashville on November 3, 1955 to the late Albert "Alec" Lane, Sr. & Hazel Louise Marcrum.

She attended Cohn High School then spent several years as a competitive hair stylist. After moving to Dickson, TN, she went on to be a stay at home mother & one badass farmer for over 13 years. Later she worked for Home Depot & then throughout her last years became an in home caregiver.

Margie loved her family, friends, animals and welcomed all as she never met a stranger. She was a free spirit & embraced life. Her laugh & personality were infectious & she had an unforgettable smile.

Margie is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Louise Lane & brother, Albert Eugene "Gene" Lane, Jr.

Margie is survived by her son, Zachary Ryan Adams, daughter, Jillian Blake King (P-Nutt); grandchildren, Lexi Elizabeth King, Tristan Parker King, Nathan Ryan Adams, Noah Ryan King, Adrianna Star Adams, Lillian Gwen Adams; great granddaughter, Paisley Kay King; twin brother, Walter Lee Lane (Debbie), sister-in-law, Mary Sophia Lane, several nieces & nephews and partner, Murle Pruett.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Pike in Nashville at 1:00pm.
Casual attire only please.
