Marjorie Clauer

Marjorie Shonk Clauer, age 98 passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Nashville Tennessee.

She was born in Cutler, Indiana, December 8, 1921 to Orval and Mary Shonk.

Attended Lincoln Business College of Indianapolis where she studied shorthand typing and Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music where she studied piano and organ.

Worked for L.S. Ayers department store in Indianapolis as a secretary and accounting for husband's business in Nashville.

Mrs. Clauer is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Clauer, Sr. and her son, James S. Clauer Sr.

Survived by her son, Robert R. Clauer, Jr.(Virginia), grandchildren, James S. Clauer, Jr.(Kristin), Ann Claire Johnson(Garrett), Robert R. Clauer, III(Larisa), MacKenna Slate(James), Destry Suffridge, Great grandchildren Chaplin and Navarre Clauer, McKinley and Mattie Slate.

A private family graveside service will be held at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
