Marvin Baskin

Marvin Clark Baskin of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on July 2nd, 2022, at the age of 61. He was born on July 6th, 1960, to his loving mother, Hallie Vera Baskin. Marvin was an avid gun collector. When he wasn’t listening to his oldies, Marvin could be found surrounded by his family. Marvin was also a believer in Jesus and spent his time in worship at the Methodist Church.

Marvin is welcomed home by his beloved son, Joshua; his mother, Hallie; his grandmother, Dorothy Baskin; and his best friend, Pat Cantrell. He leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Cindy; his children, Steven (Christy) Baskin and Kimberly (Michael) Baskin; and his siblings Kimberly K. Baskin and Mark (Becky) Baskin. Lastly, Marvin leaves behind his prides and joy; His grandchildren, Stevie, Scarlett, Kenzie, Eli, and little Michael. Along with other various friends and family members.

Services will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on July 8th, 2022, from 3-7pm. A graveside service and burial will be held the next day at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens at 11am. All are welcome to attend.

Marvin leaves behind a love implanted in the hearts of all who were able to know him. He will be missed dearly.
