Mary Katherine "Kathy" Finch of Nashville passed away peacefully on January 9, 2015. Mrs. Finch was born in Nashville on February 17, 1936 to the late Henry and Willie Biggs. She was a longtime member, pianist and organist at Judah Ministry Center (formerly West Nashville Church of God). She loved to minister to people through her music and played a variety of instruments. She was an avid sports fan. Her favorite teams were the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Atlanta Braves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Johnnie Finch. She is survived by her children, Tom (Ruth) Finch, Tim (Gwen) Finch and Tammie (Daniel) Sutherland; grandchildren, Craig (Christi) Finch, Michael Finch and Daniel Sutherland V; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Arabella and Emmett Finch; sisters, Helen Andrews and Joyce (Russell) Spicer; and brother, Johnny (Barbara) Biggs. She enjoyed visiting with the friends she made at St. Luke's Community House. Her family appreciates the people who made her feel so special every week. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 12th, 11:30 A.M. at the West Harpeth Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Alsobrooks Cemetery in Erin, TN.
