Mary Jane Patton Fisher

Mary Jane Patton Fisher was born May 30, 1937, in Santa Fe, Tennessee and went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2024.

She was the daughter of George and Annie Bell Givens Patton who preceded her in death along with her six siblings, her husband, Houston Fisher and daughter-in-law, Debbie Fisher. She is survived by her only son, Wendell Fisher and granddaughter, Shania Fisher.

 Mary lived in West Nashville for nearly 70 years and was a lifelong member of the Westwood Baptist Church on Charlotte Pike and a founding member of the Ladies Friendship Sunday School Class where she truly lived out their motto “TOGETHER WE WORK”.

 At a potluck, you had to hit the dessert table quickly or her signature Chocolate Sheet Cake would be gone. Pretty sure she took that recipe with her.

The Rev. Andrew Allen and Dr. Robert Hammer will officiate the memorial service on June 19th, 2024, at 1:30pm in the Chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 12:00pm just prior to the service. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
