Mattie L. Hartman, 96 years young, passed away on October 19, 2017, with family and friends present.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Russell and James Hartman; sisters, Catherine M. Hartman and R. Aline Hartman; brother, James H. Hartman.

Miss Hartman was a member of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ for many years. She graduated from Central High School. Mattie's professional career was in the financial accounting field having retired from Ernst and Young. She always had a love for numbers and accounting.

The family extends their gratitude to Mattie's church family at Charlotte Heights for their friendship and support. Also, a special appreciation to the wonderful staff of Brookdale Bellevue and the Avondale Hospice Care team for their kindness and care.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 11:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Clifford Dobbs officiating. There will be a private interment at Woodlawn.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00am until the service time at 11:00am at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
