Mattie Tune

Mattie Louise Tune, age 92 of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009. Mrs. Tune was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, where she was an active member of the Ventures Ministry and Ambassador Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilson Tune; her son, Michael William Tune, Sr.; and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Bill Jacobs; her brother, William Harold Thompson; her grandchildren, Ronald Mark Vanessa Jacobs, William Chad Shannon Jacobs, Mick Lisa Tune, Scott Betsy Tune and Tyson Tabitha Tune; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Monday, November 16, 2009 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as active pallbearers and the Sisters in Christ Sunday School Class acting as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1 – 7 P.M. on Sunday, November 15, 2009 and from 10 A.M. until time of services, Monday, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ventures Ministry at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
