Michael David Roberts- Age 44, received his eternal reward on Saturday, May 8, 2021, after an extended illness, and now rests peacefully with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Hester Roberts, and Doc and Fran McGinness; his uncle, Sammy Roberts.

Michael is survived by his loving parents, Danny and Mary Roberts; his brother, Danny (Tammy) Roberts; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Roberts and McGinness side of the family.

He was a graduate of Jesuit High School in Dallas, TX, and went on to earn two degrees from Texas Tech. He was employed with the Federal Government for a number of years prior to falling ill.

Michael enjoyed computers, gaming and collectables. He also enjoyed reading and writing, particularly historic fiction and alternate history. He was a member of First Melissa Baptist Church, in Melissa, Texas. He will be missed by his family and all his many friends at Jesuit and Ursuline Catholic Schools in Dallas, Texas, and his gaming friends from around the world.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 12PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Pike. Interment will follow in the family plot at Parker-Fowlkes Cemetery in Burns, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 10AM until the service time at 12PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
