Mildred Franks

FRANKS, Mildred Louise Scherer, Age 86 of Nashville. Passed away on January 30, 2010. Preceded in death by her parents, George E. Scherer, Sr. and Georgia Fuston Scherer. She graduated from Louisville Girls High School. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Hobart L. Franks; daughter Sherry Lynn Arnold Bill; son, Ronald Lyle Franks Maria; three grandchildren, William Gordon Arnold III, "Trey", Martin Lankford Franks and Brittany Danielle Franks. She sang with the Louisville Philharmonic Chorus and Nashville Philharmonic Chorus. She was a past worthy matron of Doric Chapter Eastern Star, a member of Rock City Chapter, a past member of the New Century Club, Nashville Women's Club, Oak Hill Garden Club, a past president of All States Club and New Neighbors Club, and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Her hobby was collecting bells. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville.
