Nancy Fenstermaker

September 8, 1930 — August 5, 2021

Nancy Fenstermaker (AKA Nancy Dunne)

Born 9/8/1930 in Worthington, Ohio

Died 8/5/2021 in Nashville, TN

Nancy was the youngest of 7 children to Omar and Louise (Lashley) Fenstermaker.  She graduated from Worthington High School, Class of 1947 and attended Ohio State University.  Following college she went to California to work.

Nancy moved to Nashville to work in the music business in the 1960’s.  As Nancy Dunne, she managed many singers and musical groups in Nashville.  One of the more famous groups was Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass.  By 1967 Danny and his group were backing up Elvis Presley on his How Great Thou Art album and Nancy’s passion for gospel music was born.  The Danny Davis Group received a Grammy Award in 1970 under her management.

Nancy was a dog lover and treated her dogs like royalty.  She was an avid sports fan, excelling in football and golf news!  She was always a Buckeyes fan and then when the NFL Titans moved to Nashville, she had a professional team to follow.  Many relatives called regularly to talk sports with her!

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Omar and Louise, and six siblings, Violete, Richard, Robert, Jack, Virginia, and Mary Lee and their spouses.  Nancy has many nephews and nieces still living.

The family wishes to thank Mary Queen of Angels, The Meadows Senior community and Caris Hospice for their compassionate care.
