Nell Jensen

Nell F. Jensen, age 87, of Nashville, TN passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born on November 21, 1931 in Humboldt, TN to the late Algie and Annie Mae Foust.
Nell is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lee Jensen; sister, Mary Pouder; and granddaughter-in-law, Cari Vincent.
She is survived by her children Debbie Vincent(Tom) and Herb Jensen(Ellen); grandchildren, Joshua Vincent, Joy Easley(Chris), Luke Vincent(Kris), Trey Jensen, Taylor Rose(Ryan), Gabby Robbins(Wes), and Chandler Jensen. Nell is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Sullivan(Frank); and brother, David Foust(Sherry).
Nell was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Madison, TN. Her church and church family were very important to her. Nell worked with the Internal Revenue Service for over 35 years, where she eventually retired as an Appeals Officer. Upon retirement she opened her own tax service and remained in business until the age of 80.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church (610 W Old Hickory Blvd, Madison, TN 37115). Visitation will also be held at the church an hour prior to the service. Nell will be laid to rest beside her husband at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
