Paul Finholt, Sr.

FINHOLT, Paul M., Sr.- age 88, of Hendersonville, TN passed away June 29, 2013. Paul was an unselfish man that always could see the good in people. He had a great laugh and smile that people would gravitate toward. He was an adventurous, spontaneous man full of life. He enjoyed the water, fishing, woodworking, golfing, and most of all, his family. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, friend and person. He was the Rock of the family and will be deeply missed. He was a true patriot to his country serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict as a United States Marine. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Judy Finholt; children, Paul M. Finholt, Jr., James H. Blocker, Melissa L. Matson, Nancy W. Egan Brian; 7 grandchildren, Hailey Brewer Jeff, Wesley Matson, Leah Matson, Drew Egan, Martin Matson, Cole Egan & Grace Egan; 2 great-grandchildren, Levi & Allison Brewer; sister, Violet McKenzie; several nieces, nephews, & extended family members. A life Celebration will be held 11am Tuesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
