Paul D Woods

Paul D Woods, Sr. was a caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He left this world suddenly on August 22nd 2024 at the age of 59. Paul was a devoted employee at Fairview Transmission, where he spent 25 years working on cars with unwavering commitment and loyalty. 

Beyond his professional life Paul found joy in the simple things in life. He took great pride in all he did. He enjoyed wood working, painting, tattoos and riding his Harley. He was known for being straight forward with a kind heart. 

He is survived by his spouse Belinda L Woods. His father Harold Woods, Daughter Taylor Adams and her spouse Isaiah. Son Paul D Woods Jr, Daughter Caitlin McLarney of Oneonta,New York, step son Robert L Woolard Jr of North Carolina. 

He leaves behind cherished grandchildren Ayden Adams, Elijah Woods, Zachary Carless as well has step grandchildren. 

Paul was preceded in death by his brother Phillip Woods, Mother Verna Mae Bryant, Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Robert Woods and Mr. & Mrs. Byrd Bryant.

A memorial service honoring his memory will be held on Saturday September 7th, 2024 at West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a short chapel service to follow.
