Rebecca "Becky" Malone

Rebecca Y. "Becky" Malone, 87, of Nashville, passed away August 4, 2022, at Waters of Cheatham.

Becky, daughter of Clarence and Francis York, was a long-time employee of Bell South/AT&T, working over 38 years before retiring and running Orchid Cleaners with her husband, Billy Malone. She was a long-time member of the former Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ, which is now Charlotte Heights Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Malone, and her brother, Bill York. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lavern; nephews, Eddy, David, and Darrell; nieces, Pam and Sherry; step children, Larry and Sandra; daughter-in-law, Marylou; and grandson, Michael.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A Celebration of Life begin at 11:30AM in the chapel with Josh Barnett speaking and officiating the ceremony. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief fund.
