Richard Osgood

Richard Wray Osgood - Age 72, passed away February 26, 2018 in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Osgood is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Penelope Osgood; daughters, Meg Osgood Chapman (Brett), Jane Osgood Broussard (Zan); granddaughters, Edith Jane Chapman, Emmaline Wray Chapman, Alice Jane Broussard; brothers, David Osgood, Dennis Osgood, and numerous nieces and nephews.

To know Rick (Oz) was to know joy, laughter and forever a good time. Rick had a passion for his wife, daughters, and granddaughters, family and friends, and Harley-Davidson's (MCCHOG). Rick, Dad, Poppo was loved immensely. He was generous, sensitive and kind. His loving spirit was so large that it has left a void that will be hard to fill. If the road was long and wide you can bet Rick was on it. His only plan was "Plan A", no plan at all.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Belle Meade United Methodist Church with visitation from 1 pm to 3 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or Belle Meade UMC.
