Robert Haun

Robert Wayne Haun, age 84, of Nashville, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. Mr. Haun was born January 3, 1927 to Thomas Elmer and Lenna Parrish Haun in Greene County, TN. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1945 – 1948 and retired from the Ford Glass Plant after 35 years of employment. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church for 50 years. He adored his family and loved playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. Mr. Haun is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Corinne Haun; daughter, Vicki Lynn Dale Bradshaw; son, Rev. Michael Wayne Beverly Haun; brother, Paul Haun; grandchildren, Andy Bradshaw; Jennifer Haun; Amy Gregory, Courtney Welch and Sarah Lock; great-grandchildren, Caydn Bradshaw, Emma Lock and Amelia Gregory. A life celebration service will be conducted at 11 A.M., Thursday, June 23, 2011 from the Beacon Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Haun officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Wednesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home and from 9:45 A.M. to 10:45 A.M., Thursday at the church.
