Ronnie Kirby

Ronnie Kirby, 59, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 22, 2021, at Vanderbilt Medical Center with his family by his side in Nashville, TN. He was born August 14, 1960 in Gainsboro, TN to Paul and Adele Kirby.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lori Kirby of Nashville, Stepdaughter Heather Whisenant (Gary) of Fairview, Stepson David Newsome (Carrie) of Clarksville, grandchildren Elia Newsome, Keiliani Whisenant, Annabelle Newsome, and Payton Newsome. Brother Mark Kirby and Sister JoAnn Redfern, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Kirby, mother Adele Kirby, brother Terry Kirby, and Twin brother Donnie Kirby.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He had a deep love for Tennessee football, it didn't matter if it was the Tennessee Titans or the Tennessee Vols he was a true fan through and through even on the bad days. He always had his best friend and companion "Bubba" their Chiweenie pup by his side watching right along with him never missing a play.

Though we are devastated by his loss and quick descent, we know that we will see him again someday at the beautiful gates of Heaven. We would like to thank all who have helped us and continue to help through this tender time of need. Special thanks to everyone who has donated to the cause. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.
