Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 3, 1928 Departed on June 10, 2014 and resided in Nashville, TN Mass: St. Henry Catholic ChurchThursday January 1, 1970

Rosemary Vanden Branden-Pinkston , a child of God, went to be with our Lord on June 10th, 2014, after a brief illness. She was a resident of Nashville, Tn. The funeral service will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church at 2 p.m. on June 13th, 2014 with Fr. Steve Wolf, celebrant.

Rosemary was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 3rd, 1928 to Charles and Bernice Gnewuch. Rosemary was married to Robert Vanden Branden and then to William Thomas (Tom) Pinkston.

She enjoyed life to the fullest with family and friends. She was actively involved as a volunteer at St. Thomas West Hospital and Catholic charities. Rosemary is survived by her brothers Charles Gnewuch Jr. (wife Susie) and William Gnewuch. She is also survived by her four children, Paul Vanden Branden (wife Bonnie), Jean Barnes (husband John), Jo Ann Kane (husband Dave), and Carol McCorkle (husband Bob). She has four step children, Thomas Pinkston, Ray Pinkston (wife Carrie), Mary Pinkston, and James Pinkston. Rosemary has 12 grandchildren, Jared Vanden Branden (wife Erin), Joel Vanden Branden (wife Niki), John Barnes, Sarah Baltz (husband Kevin), Jacob Barnes, Mary Kane, Kathleen Kane, Kayla Riek, Leah Riek, Jack Pinkston, Lily Pinkston, and Katie Pinkston.
Rosemary has 7 great grandchildren, Morgan, Regan, Johanna, Lillian, Evelyn, and Eleanor. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her first husband Robert Vanden Branden, second husband Tom Pinkston, Leigh Pinkston, Nancy Gnewuch, and her parents.
Rosemary's family would like to acknowledge her Cursillo group: Bette Woodall, Annelle Gilbert, Betsy Timmons, and Bethell Pritchett. Also, her dear friends, Anne Williams, and Bobbie LaFollette
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Nashville Humane Society and Nashville Hospitality House. The family of Rosemary wishes to thank everyone for their loving support and prayers.
