Roy Calvert

Roy Wayne Calvert - Age 71, passed away September 10, 2015. He was born on November 23, 1943, in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Roy and Willodean Calvert. He is also preceded in death by brother, Gerald Calvert. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Calvert; sons, Chris (Suzanne) Calvert, Jeff Calvert, and Greg (Melinda) Calvert; granddaughters, Lindsey, Julia, Anna Claire, and Ellie; sisters, Margaret Rather and Lynn Bailey. Wayne was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and was a member of the men's basketball team. He retired from the banking industry. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2015, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 10am, from the graveside at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, (Lakeview Estates) with Clifford Dobbs officiating.
