Roy Jordan

Roy A. “Bubba” Jordan of Joelton, TN passed away September 28, 2022, at the age of 57 years.  Roy was a Supervisor for the Nashville Department of Transportation and had worked for Metro Services for 15 years.  He loved his family, loved to cook, hunt and tell stories.  He always tickled himself telling stories and jokes … not because of the punch line or story end but, it was how he told them.  Roy was very involved in community service and had a way of making everyone feel accepted and welcome.   Once you were family, you were always family.

“Bubba” is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd C. Jordan, Sr. and grandparents, Leroy and Itaska Armstrong and Mae and Alfred Jordan.  He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lynn Jordan; son, Roy Alan Jordan (Liz); daughter, Amber Dawn Daniels (Jesse); grandchildren, Hunter Clay Jordan Daniels, Bryant Leroy Daniels, Jesse Mac Daniels, Carlee Lynn Daniels; mother, Sylvia Jordan, sister, Melissa Hacker (David); brother, Lloyd C. Jordan, Jr.; sister of his heart, Noel Bynum (Mark); nieces, Cyanea and Maddie; aunts and uncles, Ron, Don, Polly, Nellie and many loving cousins in the “Cousin Network.”

Visitation for Mr. Jordan will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN on Sunday, October 2nd from 3pm until 7pm, and again on Monday, October 3rd, from 8:30am until the service time at 9:30am.  Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN.
