Russell "Popeye" Johnson, age 50 of Nashville passed away suddenly February 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill "Bones" Johnson and is survived by his daughter, Jennifer "JJ" Johnson; mother, Carol Abbott; brother, Richard Johnson; sister, Kimberly Bohn; nephew, Zack Johnson; niece, Amanda Bohn; nephew, Tack Johnson; nephew, Donald Johnson; special friend, Kory Arcidino and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Life Celebration service will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 4-8 P.M. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
