Sallie Williams

Sallie Rha Williams of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday January 28, 2021, with family at her bedside. She was 73 years old.

Meeting Sallie in Heaven will be her devoted husband of more than 40 years, M.L. Williams; brothers Jessie Lee Bufford and William Bufford. She leaves behind her dear children Dennis Williams, Joyce Ann Williams, and Howard Jones (Kayla); her precious grand and great grandbabies Jadonyia Williams, Alexandria Williams, Yiachia Williams, Javontae Williams, Celantis Cunningham, Ty-vonne Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Kevionna Stewart, Rhianna Williams, Brianna Williams, Ga'Niesha Rowe, Na-Shawn Cooper, Kwamon Gooch, Kemon Williams, Jamari Fisk; her loving siblings Shirley Miller, Emmer Bufford, Larry Bufford (Charlotte), Corinthian Hayes (Bobby), Lucy Allen, Ruben Bufford, Alexander Scott, and Roseanna Meyers.

Sallie was a member of the New People's Deliverance Temple. She was a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to evangelism and her family. She loved her grandbabies and spent much of her time at home cooking, sewing, and playing the bass guitar. Retired from the Department of Human Services, Sallie loved to travel and enjoyed many trips with her church family.

Memorial services will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville on Saturday February 13th from 1:00pm thru 4:00pm.

A Homegoing Celebration for Elder Sallie Williams will be held 12:00pm, Sunday February 28th at New People's Deliverance Temple, 2835 Clifton Rd., Nashville.
