Samuel Light

It's with saddened hearts that the family of Samuel Clifton Light announces his passing on May 27, 2018. Cliff was 48 years young. Cliff had battled with renal cancer for 37 days before his passing. Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his wife Tressi Light of 16 years, his children Alex Carey (William), Sami Grace Light, Grit Light, and grandchild Ryder Carey. Cliff was survived by his brother Jay Light, Craig Light, sister Margolise Light, his mother Maryetta Light, and countless nieces and nephews. Cliff was predeceased by his father Jackie Light, otherwise known as JJ Light.

Cliff was the owner and operator of Cliffs Carpet Care for 32 years which services all of middle Tennessee. He loved his customers dearly and always provided his friendship to his customers first.

His family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who offered their services, donated funds, or offered sweet words of encouragement during this heartbreaking time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Cross Point Church Bellevue Campus. Visitation will be held the same day from 4:00pm until the time of service, also at Cross Point. Cross Point Church Bellevue Campus is located at 7675 Hwy 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221.
