Sandra Gardner Parnell

Sandra Gardner Parnell passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025 surrounded by her five daughters, Stephanie, Stacy, Sherrill, Shannon and Shauna. Born in Nashville in 1939 and a 1957 graduate of Cohn High School, she lived an amazing 85 years. She was married to Leslie Eugene Parnell for 55 years until his death in 2018. As the official life of every party, she never met a stranger and if she ever told you she loved you, she meant it. She has touched countless lives and I'm sure if you want to hear some funny stories, you can ask her equally crazy friends. 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren survive her. Five awesome sons in law and an extended family that could fill the Ryman Auditorium. If you spent even 5 minutes with her, you knew what you were getting. And if you thought she was funny, then mission accomplished. If nothing else, she made 'em laugh.
