Sarah E Potts, age 85, of Nashville, TN passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at NHC Place at The Trace in Nashville. She was born on June 18, 1933 in Columbia, TN to the late George Brady and Annie Stanfill Brady.
Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Elmer Carl Potts and their three sons Elmer Ray Potts(Lainey), Michael Dewayne Potts(Yuying Li), and Donald Carl Potts(Vickie B.). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Elizabeth Coffey, Hattie Stiles, and Kara Guindin; and three great-grandchildren, Cale Stiles, Luke Stiles, and Lane stiles.
Sarah was employed by SunTrust Bank for 29 years. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church and active in working with children, the bus ministry and ESL. Sarah was a devoted caregiver for her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 12:00pm in the chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 11 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Wednesday, June 12 an hour prior to the service. Sarah will be laid to rest with her family in Maury County, TN.
