Bobby Scott Nelms, age 37, passed away in Ashland City Tennessee on November 5, 2018. Scott is preceded in death by grandfather Eugene Nelms. He is survived by his mother, Lori King (Carey); father, Bobby Eugene Nelms; life partner of 6 years, Laura Johnson; daughter, August Jean Nelms; step-son, Aidan Johnson; sisters, Laura King Doty (Andrew), Suzanne Wiley, Tearston Joe'l Adams (Casey); grandparents, Ronnie & Ruth Sturdivant; grandmother, Floria Nelms; cousin, Ronnie Cothren (Morgan); his special niece, Miliana King, whom he lovingly referred to as "Mili Mouse"; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
