Scott spent the majority of his life in Nashville. After graduating from Hillsboro High School, he attended the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and graduated with a degree in Business. He loved his years on "the hill" and continued to be a big supporter of the Vols, especially UT football.
After graduation, he went to work for Public Policy Management Group (PPMG) as a Public Policy Consultant. While working for PPMG, he went to Belmont University where he received a Master's in Business Administration. He used the knowledge and skills he gained from his degrees to provide business development assistance along with marketing and sales for many companies.
Scott was loved by so many friends during his lifetime, and he cherished those many relationships that he developed over the years. He cared deeply for friends and family members and was always willing to help out anyone who had a need. Scott loved spending time with family and friends at Tims Ford Lake wake boarding, boating and surfing. Vacations and making memories with Bri and Sebastian were the times Scott cherished most. Taking Sebastian to school week day mornings or hanging out with him on Saturday mornings was a very special time for Scott and Sebastian.
Scott's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to St Luke's Meals on Wheels , support for the homeless , or St Jude's Children's Hospital .
A gathering of friends and family, to Celebrate the very significant Life of Scott Sherrill, will be held at some point in the near future.
