Sherri Sue Rogers

Sherri Sue Rogers, 68 of Dickson, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born in Nashville on July 31, 1956, to the late Edward and Juanita Gibbs Barr. She worked for American General for 26 years. Sherri enjoyed spending time gardening. She enjoyed traveling. Sherri was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother and spent much of her time playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and having a cup of coffee with family.

In addition to her parents, Sherri was preceded in death by her son, Dave; and siblings, Linda, Timmy, and Danny.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 47 years, Terry; children, Leann (Russell) and Aaron; grandchildren, Angel, Bryan, Cayla, Alex, Logan, Colby, Evie, and Daiven; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Journee, and Lora; brothers, Dale and Ray; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the Funeral Home. A Celebration of Sherri’s Life will begin at 2:00PMin the Chapel at West Harpeth. Following the Service, Sherri will be laid to rest in the Mount Olivet Cemetery on Lebanon Pike.
