Age 81, September 9, 2015. The daughter of the late Thomas and Beatrice Higgins. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard Kimbro. Survived by her loving family; son, Rick (Laura) Kimbro of Whites Creek and daughter, Karen ( Rick) Head of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Trey (Jamie) Kimbro, Miles and Mitchell Head; three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kimbro loved flower gardening and her green thumb was evident to all that knew her. Mrs. Kimbro was loved by her family, friends, and members of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. Family will serve as pallbearers. The graveside service will be Monday, September 14, 2015 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Brother Darrell Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends at the West Harpeth Funeral Home from 2-5pm on Sunday, September 13, 2015 and Monday from 10-12 at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, (615) 352-9400.
